Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026 — These terms are written in plain English. No fine print, no surprises.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using kamalhosen.com (the “site”), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Simple as that.
I reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
2. Use of the site
This is my personal portfolio site. You are welcome to browse, read, and share links to the content. Here is what I ask in return:
- ✓Do browse, read, share, and link to the content.
- ✓Do reach out via the contact form or email.
- ✗Do not copy, reproduce, or redistribute site content for commercial purposes without permission.
- ✗Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or to distribute malware, spam, or harmful code.
- ✗Do not scrape, crawl, or mine the site for data without prior written consent.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, code snippets, designs, illustrations, project descriptions, and any other materials — is owned by me (Kamal Hosen) unless otherwise credited.
Open-source code hosted on GitHub is governed by the license specified in its respective repository. These terms do not override open-source licenses.
Content from third parties (blog comments, guest content, etc.) remains the property of its respective owner.
4. External links & third parties
The site may link to third-party websites, services, or products. I am not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites. A link does not constitute an endorsement.
If you visit a third-party site from a link on kamalhosen.com, their terms and privacy policies apply — not mine.
5. No warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is.” I make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the site.
I am a human being maintaining this site in my spare time. While I do my best to keep everything accurate, mistakes happen. I reserve the right to fix, update, or remove content at any time without notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the site. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and punitive damages — even if I have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In plain terms: this is a personal portfolio site. Use it at your own risk. I am not responsible if something goes wrong.
